This film follows the story of Mali’s musical heroes as they fight for their right to sing.     THEY WILL HAVE TO KILL US FIRST: MALIAN MUSIC IN EXILE sold out in it’s only other screenings in Australia! The New York Times said the documentary “delivers a vibrant testimony of resilience under oppression.” Directed by Johanna Schwartz and featuring an original score by Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) it is a complete cinematic experience not to be missed.
