UKRAINIAN FILM FESTIVAL

The Pivotonian Cinema presents the 4th annual festival of ‘Uki’ film here in Geelong. Featuring all-new films from the exciting, accomplished and emerging Ukrainian film industry. His Excellency the Ukrainian Ambassador to Australia will open the festival on Friday, 28th June at 7pm with a gala screening of the 2019 screwball comedy HERO OF MY TIME. Ukraine beers & vareneky (dumplings) will be available throughout the festival.
Films featured include: HERO OF MY TIME, WOMAN AT WAR, DONBASS (from acclaimed director Sergei Loznitsa), WHEN THE TREES FALL and VOLCANO, along with an exciting package of 2019 SHORT FILMS from the DOVZHENKO film centre.
